Summary: We've seen countless parasites across this decade, most of which that come from nature or outer space. But if there's one place that's mastered the art of parasitic life, it is Hell itself. What else do you call possession, anyway? Only this time, the demons are going the traditional way.

History: In the 19th century, the quiet town of Harborford, Washington bore witness to a deadly strain of demonic parasite simply known as the Scourge. It was extracted and buried below an old church before it could do too much harm, and it remained there for the rest of time. At least until modern folks accidentally unleashed it again while tearing the place down. Now the whole town is under attack by the parasites. Can it survive?

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After a while, the main Scourge parasites are killed by either being dunked in alcohol or just burned alive. However, at least one remains in a hospital.

Powers/Abilities: The Scourge can infect and possess any body to use for its own gain. Mostly, it's to eat the host and everyone else.

Weakness: Those with alcohol in their blood will not be possessed, for that's lethal to them. They can also be killed by conventional means.

Scariness Factor: -Terrifying powers and an unsightly design cannot save the Scourge from some quite lackluster CGI. Also, the main thing to do against them is to get drunk. Not exactly setting good examples for the people, now are we?

Trivia: -For those of you wondering, Harborford isn't real.
